Holding U to upgrade Only works on some systems

Well, me and my friend were playing a normal Free for all.. and they didnt understand how i upgraded so fast. Well i explained it you them that if you're not clicked on any tower and if you just put your cursor over the tower and hold U.. it will upgrade.. we all play on different laptops and it only worked on one system... which is my old inspiron.. found this really weird
