Copy/Paste text to work?

Sometimes i need to paste or copy something (chat logs etc), but i cant... why?

There would be complications with the web version.

It is a Problem with the Java Update 17!

I couln't say, which versions fault that is, but thats right.
Earlier, it worked(before 1.6.17)

In Java 1.7 there has been a change so that applets etc. are no more able to access the system-wide clipboard and are forced into some sort of sandbox mode. For me this looks like a quick and dirty security fix, maybe "evil" applets grabbed the clipboard contents of unsuspecting users surfing the web and Oracle did not have the time to re-implement the clipboard stuff. Let's hope that the next Java update fixes this again.
Think it, design it, build it, run it. That's what I do.

cant you implement your own clipboard paste system? there MUST be other solution than wait a fix from developers, since i am very sure that feature is widely used by millions...

maybe someone has already made a workaround for it, look around some java forums or something?

You still can drag & drop all text you want into the java-application.
Works fine for me.

Indeed! But it doesnt work the other way around: i cant drag text from creeptd.
