Hi,

ein freund von mir wurde heute aufgrund seines namens(!!!!) gesperrt. er hat sich "fotzenknecht" genannt. finde ich etwas übertrieben aber naja.
nur kann er sich jetzt gar nicht mehr anmelden. das geht finde ich zu weit!
seraph07 hat ihn gesperrt. vielliecht solltet ihr bishcen mehr überlegen wem ihr SU rechte gebt.

Ich weiß nicht, wieso du das hier unter Suggestions postest, aber egal. Der Bann für den Nick ist wohl berechtigt und im Normalfall wird dem entsprechenden User auch mitgeteilt, dass er sich besser einen anderen Accountnamen macht.

Wie wäre es, wenn sich dein Freund selber mal hier meldet?!

Er kann sich mit einem anderem Account anmelden.
"Fotznknecht" und "schwanzlurch" sind gesperrt, mit seinen anderen Accounts kann er sich immer noch anmelden.
Bitte benutz das nächste mal die Suchfunktion und poste unter dem richtigem Forum.

This seems to be a connection issue between your provider and the CreepTD infrastructure - or - something blocking you from accessing the game server host and/or port from your computer. Actually, if you can reach the website, you should also be able to reach the game server which is located at the same datacenter.

I went a few steps further and have done a wireshark and pulled the log file.

I do see communication but I did see this in the log file:
[BOOTSTRAP] Process exited with empty result code (assuming normal operation)
14:34:22,750 WARNING LoginScreen$12:697 - Failed to check server status

MOving my ongoing issue from the server down thread.

I have not been able to get back on since the latest restart.

I basically get the lobby server is unreachable.

Happens with both the download and browser based version.
I just upgraded to the latest version of Java and that did not fix issue.

I can send log files if needed and wireshark captures as well.

For some reason you do not get a connection at all to gs1.creeptd.com [188.40.89.195] on port 4748 ("Failed to check server status"). To check what's happening there, try to use "nslookup" from the windows command prompt like this:

nslookup http://www.creeptd.com
nslookup gs1.creeptd.com

Please post the result. If the second statement fails, there's possibly a bad/old DNS record cached somewhere between your computer (or your computer itself) and our datacenter. In that case, try to restart your computer and to power off and on again all the devices that you use to connect your computer to the internet (like modems, routers, repeaters and switches).

If there is no error, please try the following from the windows command prompt:

ping http://www.creeptd.com
ping gs1.creeptd.com

Please post the result. If you got here (both nslookup calls succeeded), deactivate all anti-virus and firewall applications. Then try if it works while successively restarting each program to pinpoint the application that actually blocks the connection. If you have found one, reconfigure it to allow the connection.

Further developements:
It has to be within my network.
I am not able to log in with other computers at my house, but I am able to log on from elsewhere.....

Ok I see what happened.
You know the old saying about idle hands.......
Well when the server was down I started to fiddle with my QoS settings in my Actiontech router.
I inadvertently turned my firewall setting to low, although it even showed off it was was still set to low - how I miss CLI.

anyway Actiontech will block a lot of stuff to include outbound POP3 to Gmail and CreepTD

I cannot log in and havent been able to all day, neither can my brother, what the hell is wrong, it keeps saying. connection aborted failed to connect to server, and its not my connection.

Have you IP banned me or something?!
