Map rename suggestion

The map "Labyrinth" is actually a Maze! Rename now!

In everyday speech, both maze and labyrinth denote a complex and confusing series of pathways, but technically the maze is distinguished from the labyrinth, as the labyrinth has a single through-route with twists and turns but without branches, and is not designed to be as difficult to navigate

Basically labyrinth only goes forward, left or right, and no alternative paths, it never goes backwards (which the map "Labyrinth" does! in addition, that map looks like a Maze too).

The map:

Labyrinth is the german name, when the map got created, almost everyone here was german.
But your right, it could be renamed.

technically you're both wrong if you had read the wikipedia article you would know the difference.
Actually there is only one difference between a mace and a Labryinth. A Labyrinth has only one way. You can't get into a dead end. A Mace on the other hand has several ways and you're likely to take the wrong one. So basically alt is right it is a mace! But who cares. Everybody knows what a labyrinth is but not what a mace is. I would leave the current name

again the therm Labyrinth is not wrong. Its just the german word.

it says that there are diffrent kinds of "Labyrinthe". One is like the labyrinth in the english language and one is like a maze in the english language. One can call the second one "Irrgarten" aswell but one does not really use that word and its only for mazes made out of hedges.

btw how do you know the map was german name when both english and german are written exactly the same?

I mean you cant expect, that if a picture shows something and the name of the picture means in German the same as the thing shown on it and in English its a different thing, that he means that what it means in the English language...

Actually I don't see a problem here. It's just the name of the map that all of us already got used to, not a form of science. It doesn't matter imho, we should focus on real improvements instead.

how do you remember one map thread so well? if it was like 5 year old map.
