You havent answered the question yet: why 480 and not 150? why do you want us to use more CPU power from your servers? i dont get it. 150 rounds would serve two purposes: 1) less CPU power used for server. 2) make players happier by ending it faster.

As far as i understand, survivor mode is supposed to be "impossible to defend" at one point or another. What is the point defending for 2 hours, when you could finish it in 30mins by making the AI to spam crazy amounts of creeps which makes the player lose quickly? Or better: you could end the game after 150 rounds and display "you won!" text. No point playing 480 rounds when you can do the same in 150 rounds, because nothing will change after that. I would say even 130 rounds would be enough actually.
I dont think the highscore resetting is a big deal, especially if you change max rounds to 130 or 150, they can make up the highscores again quickly if they want, and probably will even without notice.

I believe the survivor mode should be fixed instead of maps, because if you change the survivor mode, then every single survivor mode map must be changed too, and that is not an option. So its best to either:
1) give possibility for mappers to manage how the creeps are sent in that map.
2) automatically adjust the creep sending intervals depending on how easy/hard map it is.
I would prefer the latter since it would reduce mappers work if the survivor mode is again changed completely.
Current 480 rounds limit just makes it stupid to play for those few maps which never ends, but it would be nice to end it faster too, i see those maps like noob maps where noobs learn to play and they can experience victory once they find the best settings

but currently its just annoying to wait 2 hours... for what? to get your name in the last name in the 1. score which is full of names already?
So even if the SpeedCooop and others are never-ending, i think they are good maps for noobs anyways! so i dont think they need to be fixed. but waiting for 2hours is just wrong.
