Please try to let the path free from the grid. Also I am not realy sure if I understand the start and ending position right. Please show us the way of the creeps, it would help us very much.

ZIP-File Before I am going into detail about the map. There is a bunch of things wrong with you path file. A path has to start with an underground element and has to end with them. In your case you can't start the path outside of the map as normally, but you need to start with an underground segment. That would mean 4,14 is underground. Next thing missing is the empty line at the end of the mapfile.
Most map things have been said already, so I'd keep that short. You need to remove the raster from the path. The map border don't fit in Multiplayer. That's really a big pitty. Cause the background would look quite nice actually. Although I am not sure whether the background will distract you or not.
A big discussion about this map will be about the path. I cannot make any predicts here about how it will be to play the map. But if you force me I'd say it will be really complicated to defend it. And I am not sure if it's gonna be fun, but we'll see that if the map makes it into testing. But I'll only give it into internal discussion if you Improve all the things I've mentioned.
"Have no fear of perfection; you'll never reach it."
I think the background is a bit confused, what appears to be confetti intermixed with a few snowflakes.... The coloring is interesting, but doesn't tie into the snowflakes.
I like the coloring and texture of the path
The Path..I like the concept of the head on creeps, nice idea! Can you extend the start and finish to the edges, to appease the masses?
Also can you show the map editor picture so I can visually see all of the blocked areas?
