Lustig, dass die Hakenkreuze inzwischen alle kindisch finden, vor einer Weile wurden deshalb noch reihenweise Maps überarbeitet oder abgelehnt. Aber stimmt, es ist falsch rum.
A Swastika? Really? that is a big stretch there. Only Issue I have is the u-turn near the top, not sure it would provide anything defensively....it could be a red herring though.
Also you blocked some but not all tiles adjacent to the diagonals; why?
I blocked only the tiles at the long diagonals(2x1 jumps), where the creeps would move directly above the towers. I'm not sure if it bothers at the other diagonals.

The point is, I had the idea for the design, but I don't have a nice path for it.^^ If anyone had a better path which fits to the theme, i would be really happy.

I think, there are good deffspots but with only a few places for towers. So it would be interessting to see the different tactics for arranging with the small space.

For me it looks like the matrix, then I am unsure. It would be great to see any element from the movies as the base concept behind it instead of just the screen background.

It's not what the Matrix-Code looks like. You've taken a Matrix Graphic and put a Filter on it to cover up that the Backround isn't from you. I dont thinks thats a big Problem at all, but the result realy doesn't works as Matrix-Design.
It is too blurry, too dark and the Path-Design is "Ok" but not so special.
On the Pro side, i like the Path of the second Version.
Im sorry that i cant give better Tips. Ive seen that look just too many times before an way better. At all it's not a new or creative Work.
First off all the background is from me. If you don't believe me, i can tell you how i made it (without any graphics from the internet).
I'm not really sure, what you mean dcode. Something like Neos or Smiths face? The characteristic bullets or such slow motion things won't look well, i think. And most guys don't like writing in the map design (estimator). But i agree with you, that something special is missing.

There could be the lobby where those heavy fights take place, or a telephone as exit point, or the machine world (creeps = machines), maintenance tunnels, zion gate, zion itself like seen in the final fight...such things There are plenty of possibilities.
