[added] Screen 32x16

85 Steps
Start at the "on"-Button.
Everything blocked except the screen.
2x 1 Step Stops at the "+1"'s

You got me a bit confused here, but if I'm right you can only build on the black squares with blue edges?

If yes, I like the map. The path is nice, it's short but why not, I like the design, little bit Handy inspired perhaps :)

The only thing i dont like is creeps going from right to left for the upper team...the standard is left to right for upper and right to left for the team below, I wouldn't go against that tradition. Probably you should flip the path horizontally and move the On button with it?

That would be the only thing I have to say here :) Keep on creepin' :ugeek:

Great path. I really like stops positioning, would be great for combos. Design is good and clear.

@Pezinator: Start at the "on"-Button on the right side.
End in the middle ... above the CTD logo.
Because there is this green arrow in-game I thought it would be clear enough.


If a left-to-right path is more appreciated:

Nope. That's not so good. Cause like the way it is now, best deff spots are at the end

I prefer the left-to-right version, after all there isn't a big Arabic community in CreepTD, so I'd stick to left-to-right, like all other maps. It's less confusing :ugeek:

But you always can use your first money for sending. It's a pretty deep choice of how you want your map to be played and nothing you should even try to change the maker's mind about, cause it comes down to the gameplay of your map.
The mapper chose it cause he wants it like this and not the other way around, since that would change the map pretty much and he probably would have never designed a map like this then. That imo just grasps way too far into changing the original map and isn't supposed to be considered. Imo.

If you don't like the map, don't like it. If you say "it would only make the map better, thats all" you could as well tell the mapper to change his path and even tell him how to change it imo. He thought about the path and made it like that, telling him to completely turn it around, cause it would "make the map better" is way too subjective and no form of useful criticism, which also goes way too far into "artists freedom" imo and just isn't considerable. I did read your posts, but as I also mentioned, to me it seems like a very basic, important and early decision you make about your map, if you want to have a longer time to see whats coming, BEFORE they reach the good deffing spots or if you make them reach the good deffing spots right away and give them a longer time without any really good def spots. And since that's one of those basic decisions that compose your whole map, I really don't like the idea of making anyone change it.

I personally don't really have an opinion what i personally prefer, cause it's just 2 different sorts, which to me both seem good. But since this is what the mapper has decided on, I think you should accept it as his decision and it's one of those that you imo shouldn't try to change.

Any suggestions for more details ? ...

Here are my though why I kept it that simple:
I though about adding a background image to the screen, but did't wan't to overload the path, to prevent a "where is the path discussion".

As for the surrounding/screen details:
I think there aren't any more buttons on a screen so I kept it that simple, and creating a kind of a "room" in the Background would look a bit awkward (upside down) in 4Player view - I though the screen upside-down was enough ;)
