Taskbar Notifications not working on Linux Ubuntu 13.10

Hey guys, the nice taskbar notifications you implemented on windows show up on linux ubuntu 13.10, but they got no content, just a (mildly ugly) textfield with an exclamation mark in it (view attachment). Would be great if you could fix that or, if the problem is my PC, help me fix it..

Thank you for telling us about this bug. Unfortunately is our development in a frozen state, so we cannot help you with this issue.

I know java a bit, so maybe i could help a bit in development. Unluckily im qutie busy atm, but if one of your developers could send me the code and the bit where those notifications are implemented i could take a look.
