Cannot change account settings

Hi there,
when I created my account, I did not supply an email address. However, now I want to add an email address, but it doesn't work: when I try it via the game client, I get the error message "Bitte gib eine korrekte E-Mail-Adresse oder keine an. Wenn du deine E-Mail-Adresse angibst, wird es dir möglich sein, dein Passwort wiederherzustellen." When I try it via the homepage (User Control Panel --> Profile --> Edit account settings), I get the message "The current password you entered is incorrect.". It is also not possible to just change the password, because then the system tells me "The e-mail address you entered is too short.".

The password is 100% correct; I copy-pasted it and it works for the login.

The forums are connected to the players database, changing your information directly at the forums has no effect / does not work.

So, back to the ingame account settings: Can you send me your email address as a private message so I can check the code against it?
