ok this is a rough sketch. me and alexinator are going to do a few collaborative maps. let me know what you think of the path

yes I've played infinity. this is a rough sketch I did in 10 minutes. I plan on changing a bit. adding 2 more def spots one at start and one at end

Altough you are going to scratch that one anyway. I just wanted to give you some advice and feedback of this one aswell. Personally I think on this one neither the path nor the design are appealing. I acknowledge your idea, but as Seraph has said already, it doesn't make any fun to play a map where the tower can hardly reach the creeps.
Maybe you can recreate the map though.
How about adding more defence areas? Making more circles and loops into the path. I wouldn't through the idea away entirely. Think a little bit about it.
Concering the design. I really don't like the direction we are heading for at the moment.Well vectorstyle can be nice. But concerning my opinion you should spend a little bit more time creating a nice background. Some easy backgrounds may seem nice, but if we are adding to many of those maps. We will be at the exact same spot where we have been 3 years or so ago. At the beginning of mapdesigning --> Creepsmash. Look at maps like blueworld. Those are maps with a nice and easy design. There not always the need to create maps like Jungletour, with a big and complex design, but I think we should stay at the level of blueworld. Lowering our expectation of the mapdesign to much won't be a good idea.

that was just a rough sketch. didn't do anything design wise because I was gonna be working with alexinator to make a few maps. That's basicly what my first sketch of a map looks like before I do anything design wise. Makes it easier to make changes to the path and then work on the design
