The problem about "Send to next" is that it's overly unfair. Most game results in this mode do not reflect the real skill involved. It highly depends on if you are behind a player who is more or less skilled respectively it's a huge advantage to be "behind" a player who is under heavy pressure by a more skilled opponent. As far as I know "Send to next" has been the first mode ever implemented, but it unfortunately has been the least balanced / conceived one. The real problem about this mode comes up when players decide to use the drawbacks of the mode on purpose (e.g. team playing exactly the way that both become 1st and 2nd).That's why it has been removed in favour of the "Send to random" mode, where it's at least a random advantage that in most cases balances itself over time.
Think it, design it, build it, run it. That's what I do.
