FIX THE BUG (PLEASE READ)

This is getting a little ridiculous when this bug has been posted multiple times and it makes the game unplayable. The game freezes up and you cant type or send creeps, It makes the game completely un-playable, people go on about how the bugs have been fixed well not that i can tell. Yes i have tried to use the debugger but that doesn't do anything about the fact you cant use send creeps. It goes for 20+rounds and it make the game impossible to play let alone win. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated

As i said in my first post there is nothing different in the log, the game still gives me money, and the game still functions properly, the only difference is i cant send creeps, i can build and upgrade but i will post the log if u think that will help i will also take a screen shot of how the game looks

i have posted this like 3 times and nothing is being done about this, i have said that posting the log will do nothing, because it wont show the fact that i cannot send creeps! it makes the game impossiable to play. I was leading a game and at the last life they had i could not send creeps for 20+ turns, and lost. how is this fair! every time i post for someone to give me even some insite into this bug, all i get is post the log report,then when i said that the log doesn't show anything i don't get any feed back. as i have stated in the past 2 posts. The log shows nothing different because it doesn't show sending creeps!. Maybe if someone could play a few games, insted of saying post the log. I know im not the only one that this happens to, i have friends who play this game that this happen to, i feel that if this does not get fixed your going to lose alot of players. My next step will be to record games and post the video and show it, i just cant believe the people in "power" of this game dont look into peoples bug reports, even tho they encourage people to report them.

As i already said, you have to send us the log. You have to activate it, with /debug in the game!
Without you sending us this log, we can not fix the bug!

ok well than can u please explain how the log will help if it does not show anything? it shows everything as normal, im getting income, it would show the exact same thing as if i wasn't sending creeps at all, this is what i am talking about, i post this big problem and all i get back is " send the log" i have said multiple times before IT DOESN'T SHOW ANYTHING DIFFERENT but i don't get a response after i say that, all i get is well send the log. how is this helping fix anything? if the log doesn't show anything does this mean im not having a problem when clearly i cant send? i dont get it, but that's ok, i will just record my next game and show u what im talking about, and how ur "log" doesn't show anything at all

We need the log! Why is it a problem to post it? Even if it does not show anything it would be a hint. For example, if you click on the send button and nothing happens and we see in the log, that there is no order in the log, it is a hint!

I also think, that you can not really judge if a log is normal or not. It costs you 30 seconds to post it and then we can help you better!

I reviewed your log and as you expected there is nothing special happening. However, most players do not complain about similar issues, so there must be something special about your client. As far as I can tell, your Java version is the most recent 1.6 one, so this shouldn't be the problem.

Some things I think of:
- Maybe there is an issue with the underlying network. Common issues are caused by firewalls and/or antivirus software that may - or may not - intercept or delay the game's traffic in some way.
- Maybe there is an issue with another software running in the background slowing down the Java VM. However, this would be a very exotic issue.

Some things you could try:
- Temporary disable all programs that may modify or delay the underlying network packets in any way - just to be sure.
- Play the download version instead if you haven't tried so yet

Of course I'd appreciate any further details you can provide me with on the issue

-it does not happen every game and for the whole game, i am unable to send for a portion of the game.
-It sometime will not let me type a message to anyone private or not, but in a 2v2 co-op i can use the alt click,
-when i am unable to send, some towers will not have sound but others will, and at some times i am unable to hear anything in the game

sorry for double posting here, i would just like to say that i really do enjoy this game, and i really do like playing, the only problem is the fact that i cannot send during more games then i can send, and it makes the game unplayable/unwinable. i dont want u to think that i am just posting these for no reason, i would like to also mention the fact that the video i posted can be backed up by alternet videos, of the same thing, please keep me updated.

Are you using a mac? And does the sound bug always happen together with this? If so, does it happen if you mute sounds, too?

no the sound bug doesnt always happen and no it only mutes the sounds in game and like i said sometimes it wont be every tower. just select towers. I am also using a pc running windows xp pro sp 2. and like i said i am not the only one ive seen with this problem

Ok, mmh. So, did it also ever happen when sounds had been muted (in game via options, volume=0) for the whole game? Tried that already? Just asking because of the fact that sounds are also not working correctly and this may - or may not - be connected somehow.

Sorry for all these questions. I am just trying to figure out where the difference is between people who encounter the bug and those who don't. This might be a hint for me where to take a deeper look at.

Is there anything special about your computer or operating system you know about? Could you provide me with the exact specification of CPU, Internet-Connection (type, speed, provider) etc.?

I am also thinking about adding some debug output to the next version that allows us to see where exactly the send-action gets stuck.

ok to answer ur first question:
-I have tryed the volume control (in game options) nothing happens, and i have tryed playing with game muted and it still happens.
-also i believe i have mentioned the fact that when it happens (sometimes not always) i cannot type but i can use the alt click function
- i am using Bell highspeed internet and it is working fine for everything else

my system specs:

processer: Intel/ pentium 4/ 2.4 GHz
Memory: 1 gig ddr
video: NVIDA GeForce FX 5200 128 mb
HDD: 100 gig ( 36.7 gig used)
Sound: On Board sound

and all my direct X files are up to date, as well as my java

this issue also happens when i run it on java script. so its not the downloaded game

if you need anymore information i am more than willing to give it to u. as i have said before i love this game it just frustrates me when i get a bug that makes it unwinable
