Game randomly stops running

Lately i have been having some issues with creeptd. When in lobby or in-game, it kicks me out and gives me the error "connection aborted", even though my connection is stable. Sometimes the game just stops as if it has been paused when im playing. I tried reinstalling the game and i also reinstalled java, however the problems still occur. If you have any ideas of what it might be, pls let me know.
