Who wants the "old" good cannon damage?

i really appreciated the great effort done by dcode on this 1.1 version but the "thing" that upset me was the balance on damage i mostly notice on the blue cannon.
I remenber when we puted one blue cannon and we were safe from almost every creep until manta.
To all speed vector this will afect hard their strategys cause ->

- Everyone know that 2 slows + one blue cannon + one tesla = kill a demeter.

- Everyone knows that one blue cannon + 2 teslas + 2 slows take half a ray life.

So cause of this i will creat this pool to everyone could vote what they really want!

The problem was that the blue cannon tower was incredibly overpowered compared to every other tower. So we decided to change that in a way, that balancing is improved but that the red cannon tower is almost the same as the old blue cannon tower in price and damage. So, building a red cannon tower now costs 1050 in sum (compared to 1000 for a blue previously) and does nearly the same damage. However, the new green and blue cannon towers have an even better price/damage ratio...and just need to be placed at the right spots to be a real snap.

Additionally we buffed the speed towers a bit to make it more a challange to pick the right tower for the job because previously blue splashs were quite a no-brainer.

I understand dcode, sorry i didnt realized the price of the red cannon was decreased :roll:

Any way i think in some time players will familiarize with this change...

i will still leave this poll open to every player be free to tell what they prefer.

Can u explain why u want the old version back? Some arguments? ...
the new canon tower is way better balanced and is now better for the earlygame and differs more from the missile silos.
Also, as said above, the new red canon tower is nearly the same as the old blue one.

Already told you.

Green cannon is useless. So is blue (why? range!). Only useful is red or white. You might as well just remove the green and blue versions, which is same as going back to old version -_-

Green cannon is useful only on Quadcore map, but even there the blue cannon is useless, you need to upgrade to red almost instantly anyways.

Green cannon is the best tower in the game!

Ok...da bin ich mal neugierig...in der Hinsicht finde ich auch, dass der grüne Splash alleine FAST nichts bringt (nur mit Slows).

The only reason cannon towers are good, is if they hit multiple creeps at once. Anyone with even little brain understands that if enemy spams cannons, then he would make longer intervals between the creeps, so the cannons would not have the advantage of area damage anymore, and thus waste of money for the enemy.

So you are sayin, that green cannons are better than blue gun turrets, if shot at single creep?? Then what the hell is the point of gun turrets anymore... dude... why you ever had to change anything!? It was perfect before.

the point is the right mixture

between

gun turrent and geen/blue cannon

Tesla and red/white cannon

The Splash was overpowered in comparison with Tesla, and the white was to expensive so everyone switched to Rockets after blue or red upgrade.

Now you have additional possibilities to defend novas/mantas (cheaper then 1000c) or you go save with a red splash.
Also the white Splash is useful now because he is much cheaper and has a great splash range. Later you can use Rockets then.

e.g. at Circlevector you can defend mantas+ novas with 2 blue splashes (cannons) quit good (900 Credits)
But the easy way would be a red one (1050 Credits)

The old way was: All build 1 blue Splash

So now we have more variety.

Why? Just build a red cannon tower instead of a blue (costs 1050 in sum compared to 1000 previously and does nearly the same damage). I really don't get the point because we intentionally rebalanced it with the previous blue cannon tower in mind.
Think it, design it, build it, run it. That's what I do.
