I like the idea but this map lacks good build spots. You could try to increase the planet size and the curves around it that way more good build spots will be available.

I was not able to figure out which space you would block on this map at the first look and I had no idea how I should place my deff. To place the maindeff in the first rounds is one of the mainideas on speedmaps. A player who is unable to figure it out will leave the map soon.
The most speedmaps select common deffspots and use them as the stand alone deff.

I am glad that you try yourself on speedmaps. The most time are long maps in the focus of our mapcreators.

Altough i hate diagonal pathelements I really like the idea. This map could get quite handsome. First of all I think it's not that absurd that the planet is blocked. And more important i do have a really good idea how to improve the defence spots. If you make a second Orbit around the first one, with one row of fields in between them, you'll get a bunch of good defence spots
I would like to try to show it too you at your map. But it's 1 am and I lack of some time to do it since i really have to go to bed now. But I think you can figure it out on your own! Hope you like the idea. greetings Pezi.

Erde hat keinen Ring, hast wohl mit dem Saturn oder so verwechselt. Pezi, was faselst du da eigentlich?

First off the planet pictured isn't earth. It is a random planet. I like the idea of making Rings around the planet as an orbital defensive spot and to increase the path size. I got a chance to look at your Saturn images before pulling them for inspiration.
I initially left the path the size it was since it did have three buildable spots within the rings that gave at least access to 7 or more path spots. Will look further into redesign tomorrow

As far as manuel, I do value his input, when it indeed has some bearing on the subject. In this case, even if it is Earth (which it isn't, it is actually the world mentioned here:http://www.creeptd.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=24276#p24276 , I don't see a picture of the moon. Which could suggest it is out of the frame, or it was destroyed by these creeps creating massive destruction and land shifts on Earth. In this case it could very easily create a ring system around Earth. I figured the blue path is a plasma trail that they use for interstellar travel sling-shotting around planets for a gravity boost in speed (although I don't think an entire orbit of the planet would help, but maybe creeps can bypass that law of physics).
Regardless, I always value the wonderful insight that Manuel brings to the table, we all need a bit of comic relief

Something new in here flipper? I'd be really curious about with what you've come up. If you'll give me a new version with an improved path. I can rate it and maybe let the team discuss about it. I'll wait for the new one and won't rate the acutal one if you're fine with that.

I have to work on the path file still, I am thinking 2 orbits now the planet's rings will be buildable.

Two rings? Really? Didn´t you pay attention in your physics lessons?

Even though two rings are not possible in our universe I would be happy to see the new path image too soon.

Sind wir hier im Physikunterricht oder was? Ist doch scheiß egal ob das in Echt funktioniert oder nicht, solange es gut aussieht, wen juckts?

For those who are insistent on believability:
There is one debris ring orbiting the planet, The blue ring could be an ion path that the creeps are using to navigate though the galaxy. The creeps are skimming off resources from the planet's ring as the continue on their journey.
So that was an initial ringed design, When I start the map file the rings and the path may shift to accommodate defenses. So the finished product will be similar but may be different than the above posted picture
Here is the new path:

Please dont talk about something else as the map. Please read the messages completely. Please dont missspell our nicknames.
This does only stay because Flipper seems to like it. Otherwise your offtopic would be moved into the trash.

I've put this map into internal discussion and the team came to the conclusion, that the path doesn't have good enough defense spots. So I am sorry but I need to decline this map.

Path is ok. Design is ok.
The blocked path and the tunnel make this map to hard to play. Maybe someone likes it?
Zipfile was missing. Pathfile has some mistakes. Look for the fixed zipfile below.
