I think those are useless, and they fill up the chat room after you have played few games.

What is those messages purpose?

Sometimes i want to see what people have been talking, but its hard to scroll up really far if the game has been open for you for whole day, or even just 1 hour!

Manchmal möchte ich sehen, was andere Leute gesprochen, aber es ist schwer scroll up wirklich weit, wenn das Spiel wurde für Sie geöffnet für den ganzen Tag oder sogar nur 1 Stunde!

Well sometimes i want to know who just returned from a game, so for this its quite nice....but i dont really want to know so often so youre right, its kind of useless....
But maybe a filter would be the best solution, something like a little box and if you click it, you dont see the join/return messages anymore !?

(Ein kleines Häkchen was die benarichtigungen entweder rausfiltert oder nicht )

why do you want to know if someone returned from a game? its so rare to see it ever happening because of the flood those messages makes.

better solution would be to make players right clickable and to see if they are waiting in a room (with room name/button to join in it), playing a game, or idling.

These could be also the possibility to select it in the options, if you want these messages or not.
