Feelings from a new player. (New towers?)

I didn't see a suggestion for this on the first page..

I'm a new player and i brought a bunch of players to play with me. We like RTS and tower defence games and we were quite thrilled when we saw this one..

We thought it was going to be a multiplayer vectorTD.. At first we got just that.. Towers that are extremely different and must be used situationally. Mechanical feel to the game and such..

As we kept playing.. We started to understand what does what and all our games ended up in massing rockets, putting slows every 4 tile and spamming ultimate towers...

Since everything became like a recipe cookbook we quickly grew bored and moved on..

I feel that if we had more options.. more things we can choose from rather than the cookiecutter games (Just look at PvP games.. It's alwasy the same linear thing going on). It would be a way more fun experience for the newer player and in sense bring freshness for the veterans.

Unfortunately.. I dont think the community would like new towers to be added because it would burn down what the game is for them... But the most people i've seen online is 20.. And none of the people i started to play with wishes to play again.. I really think something needs to change.


This is a subjective rant/review from someone that didn't play this for years. Take it with a grain of salt.

Perhaps if this were pursued, new maps would have the newer towers included. Kind of like DLC.

or we could have a checkbox for participating players to click if they'd like to play with new towers or classic CreepTD towers. no option for spectators.
