It would be useful to have a map flare feature. This will be useful in coop matches, where defender can point to a tower or group of towers on map to his co-player to upgrade those towers.

Another feature I was thinking about is to have shortcuts for comments. The community is booming with new players everyday. Games and conversations are fast. For example, just type 1 to say yes, 2 to say no, 3 to say "Will you defend?", 4 to say "Ready up guys!!" etc.

What do you think?

(P.S. The idea of both these features is from Age of Empires. )

With alt + left mouseclick you can create highlights on the map.

I dont think many players would use makros, we would need tons of them so everyone can communicate equal without creating personal makros. And at this point you can create textmakros also with other programms.
Try voicy, mumble, teamspeak or even skype for a teamgame. And if that is not possible try short sentence like:"N 5/6" (Send Nova at the end of round 5 and at the beginning of round 6).
