NEW STUFF NEEDED

I think that the game itself having only 6 towers and 16 creeps is a bit of a downer, i think that having a tower that does chain damage would be a good idea. In a lot of games there are towers with lightning chain damage, but considering there is already a tesla tower maybe that isnt such a good idea. perhaps call it a flux tower or something like that?

I think that having a tower that spawns money would be a good idea, like a bank or income supply that can be upgraded.

New types of creeps would be awsome!! i would be willing to help desigining some if you dont have any ideas, but im sure you guys have lots of ideas. i know i do! Thats what makes the game exciting, updates and new stuff!!

Of course, i believe the key to succesful games that are well liked and played by many is having much variation, different people like different things and use different playing styles. it seems that on this game there are predominant playing styles used by most of the high ranking players, the consitent choice of tower selection and creep selection by most makes the game seem a bit boring at times. for example, most people on survival purchase two blue gun turrets... then a tesla... then upgrade the tesla... then fill the map with ions... BORING!

But overall, i believe this game is going to make it big, youve got good developers and designers, who know what theyre doing, i love the interactive information display at the top of the main website page, and the layout and compatibility of the website itself. as for the game, such a basic conecpt yet im sure a complex code and very fun game! keep it up guys, this game is amazing! :D

Good ideas, but look at CTD now ...

It's more important to fix bugs or get a better gaming performance till make a new step with new problems.
We have only one real person who can do such things and he had more important tasks. If you find programmers you can support dcode and improve the game, but now it is only a nice to have and you should develop a CDT mod with your features^^ (sry but thats my meaning)

Okay, i guess what youre saying makes sense, youre telling me dcode wrote the entire code on his own?

I also think that the fact that most of the forum is in german is quite annoying seeing as i have to translate every single post T_T develop a translating device lol..

It is very hard to balance the towers right. You have to take care that every tower and towerupgrade is useful. With more/new towers this is hard to implement. Therefore we (the team) have decided that we don't want to introduce new towers (and Creeps) at the moment.

This suggestion is contrary to the game "sense", where you have to attack to get more money.

Yes, because all want to use the most efficient defense!

Who does that? Depends a lot on the map!

It is less of a problem that things are not feasible, as we believe it is not reasonable!

krunx is right.
This game doesn't need any more towers or creep types. It's perfect just the way it is.
If you get to where your map is filled with ion cannons and you're sending express raptors, the game should be over quick enough. Usually games end before you even use all the creeps. And same with towers. Updates are good for games but constant changes are annoying and you have to completely relearn how to play the game when you have too many changes.
That being said, if the administrative team comes up with new stuff It's sure to be great.
