Map rename suggestion

The map "Labyrinth" is actually a Maze! Rename now!

Basically labyrinth only goes forward, left or right, and no alternative paths, it never goes backwards (which the map "Labyrinth" does! in addition, that map looks like a Maze too).

Labyrinth is the german name, when the map got created, almost everyone here was german.
But your right, it could be renamed.

technically you're both wrong if you had read the wikipedia article you would know the difference.
Actually there is only one difference between a mace and a Labryinth. A Labyrinth has only one way. You can't get into a dead end. A Mace on the other hand has several ways and you're likely to take the wrong one. So basically alt is right it is a mace! But who cares. Everybody knows what a labyrinth is but not what a mace is. I would leave the current name

Just because everybody is not familiar with the correct terms, doesnt mean we need to enchange the wrong terms!

again the therm Labyrinth is not wrong. Its just the german word.

Labyrinth im engeren Sinn: Ein verschlungener Weg ohne Verzweigungen, der unter regelmäßigem Richtungswechsel zum Mittelpunkt führt. In einem solchen Labyrinth ist es nicht möglich, sich zu verirren.
Labyrinth im weiteren Sinn: Ein System mit Wegeverzweigungen, das also auch Sackgassen oder geschlossene Schleifen enthält. Im deutschen Sprachbereich wird eine derartige Struktur auch als Irrgarten bezeichnet. Hier ist ein Verirren möglich und meist Sinn der Anlage.
it says that there are diffrent kinds of "Labyrinthe". One is like the labyrinth in the english language and one is like a maze in the english language. One can call the second one "Irrgarten" aswell but one does not really use that word and its only for mazes made out of hedges.

btw how do you know the map was german name when both english and german are written exactly the same?

because the thread was german and on the picture is no labyrinth as you know it in the english language >.<
I mean you cant expect, that if a picture shows something and the name of the picture means in German the same as the thing shown on it and in English its a different thing, that he means that what it means in the English language...

Actually I don't see a problem here. It's just the name of the map that all of us already got used to, not a form of science. It doesn't matter imho, we should focus on real improvements instead.

how do you remember one map thread so well? if it was like 5 year old map.
