you need to buy some imagination...

and it is not acceptable to say you can learn a map in 15 seconds you must can learn it in one second than it is okay!

yep it is. you cant expect to win a short map at the first try...

you can make a votum it is not acceptable.
and it is not acceptable that people want to help you with your maps and you always block it!:. but if you dont want to get helped there will be never a path to see. and no path -> no map -> not added

Yeah, i dont need your help... you want my maps to become like this game:

except that you want the dots to be connected at the first place so you dont have to figure anything yourself.

there is a arrow needed ^^

but there wont be a special option like this.. so this map had still no path :roll:

it would be fine when you add 5x5 square in the corner 3 blocks away from bottom and right sides, and the path goes around that one very visible 5x5 square.

Seriously guys: What do you think this is? Let me explain it to you: This is a forum. A forum is about discussion. And discussion sometimes is about finding a compromise.

So, please:
- Don't post maps if you are not capable of handling the response.
- Please do not comment on maps if you don't have anything useful to say.


I don't really like it this way, did it in 10 seconds, but this is what a comprimise could look like:

You couldnt have said it better, dcode...

That compromise looks like there is something good in that idea, but now it feels like i could build on the black, which shouldnt be possible. I'll try to fix it :)

I found it somewhat weird, so i thought new idea:

now it makes some more sense why the corner cube is brighter! (energized! ;) )

need to add some fancier texturing on that energy field perhaps? i dont have any atm though.

I noticed that this is in fact very similar to "4STEPS". Please take a look at the map directory contained in the beta server. Would be great if there'd be a more unique path, e.g. if the path has a spacing of one cell from the inner cube or if Creeps would even walk around the other two cubes. Wdyt?

Oh yeah 4STOPS you mean. similar path but that map is wayyyy too easy :mrgreen:

i could make the creeps walk around the other cubes by 1 out of 20 chance, how about thaT? :D i think it would be funny to notice they go there too randomly xD i think it would be exciting too... hoping that you get the chance and thus can kill the creeps better than the other players who also play on that survival match :)

How about this? those arrows would allow creeps go there 1 out of 20 chance, so you get few creeps per turn there, very little, but it will adjust the gameplay and make it more exciting :D :

it could be even possible one creep goes full round the map! but thats like 1 out of 40 chance...?'

btw how fair are those randomnesses? if everyone plays the same, will the incoming creeps also go to those detours at same time?

It's 1/400 for a single creep, so every 400th creep will go the longest path.
I like the idea! If they go the other way it doesnt make it easyer to defend in early game.

Still imo my path is nicer.
