This is exactly what I like the more sand-like style. It's clear that there is no build zone and that the gold piece is the main thing in it.

Oh yeah this will solves the problem...

We cant see where the creeps are going, the design hurts, the map is not compatibel with the new players.
This are the informations you're missed.
As far as I can see is the path boring and I don't like the design (no rasta, no informations).

Once feedback:

- Path is not obvious (at the first look) -> bad for beginners and even for experienced players
- Background does not match to the gold color and the path (in all models (except dcode variant))

;)

i dont like to add arrows there because i personally think its underestimating the intelligence of the player.

but here it is anyways:

black fields are to prevent player from building there, making it harder... also, its some sort of mine, not every mine is straight line, there are larger "empty" areas (as far as i know). if there wasnt that empty area, it would just look like they have only dug their way out, and not dug the gold at all... now it looks more like it was a screenshot from some mining game ;)

I think it's not that hard to see where the path goes, espacially in goldrush_dark1, where you can see the goldpieces much better.

I like the new version dark1, moreover the idea of searching gold in mines is awesome. mine-creepers :P
