Where to put a map for review?

Hello,
I've played with the map editor, and created a map. But then I've found that I've no place to put it. :(

You should inform users on the map editing screen, that it's useless, because there is no way to play newly created map.

Anyways, as I don't want to just delete my map, you can download it here, and feel free to include it in next release, if you like it.

Have a nice day.

What you're saying is wrong. I for myself create 5 or even more maps, that are currently in the game. If you make your own map you need to post it in the mapforum. Then people will look at it and the team will decide wether it's playable or not. If the map is playable the maptester will take a closer look and if the map is good enough it will be accpeted and you can play it.
If you look in the Mapforum, there are some tutorials, examble... for you that might help you make a good map.
greetings Pezi.

Btw. Creating a map is more then just copying a foto and creating a path. Besides the path beeing good, you also need to make a suitable and good looking design for the Map.

I see. I know the map is not good. It was just my first jump, and I wanted to see it live at least for myself in sandbox (if not for my friends), to play with it, polish it.

As a SW developer (enterprise systems), I'd like to have a skelet working, then add organs, meat, skin, etc.

This was my first try to create a map or mod for any game ever. And now, as I cannot see it live, I'm demotivated. :)

I've seen that in the next version there will be more support for custom maps. I'm looking forward to it.
