For some reaosn I have been unable to connect to the game via any medium provided on the site. each time I try to launch the java start option or the other start option they both fail to open. is anyone else having this problem?

Try clearing your browser's and the Java cache. On Windows, the Java-Cache can be cleared inside the system panel clicking the Java icon, opening temporary internet files and clearing them.

Please tell me if this works for you and maybe tell me, where the temporary internet thing for Java is located on OS X

If this does not work for you, please provide me with the error message you get (else try to enable the Java console, if this is possible on Mac OS) and provide me with a copy of its output.
